Overview

An understanding of fire behaviour provides the basis for all fire management and fire suppression decision making. This course addresses the principles of fire behaviour at an advanced level. Systems and guides such as the Canadian Forest Fire Danger Rating System are explained and practiced through exercises and documented fire case studies.
