To help inform the future of Alberta Parks, we regularly ask our visitors about their experiences within our system of provincial parks and protected areas, and for ideas on how we can improve.

Alberta Parks e-bike Pilot
Starting late August to October 2020, pedal-assist electric bikes (e-bikes) will be permitted in selected Alberta Parks within the Kananaskis Region as part of a pilot program. 

The following pathways and trail networks, which are designated for biking, have been selected for the e-bike pilot:

The pilot will help us determine if there are benefits to allowing e-bikes in Alberta Parks and to assess potential issues related to public safety, environmental impacts, and visitor experience.
